Sri Peruvemba, CEO Marketer International Inc.

Sri Peruvemba is the CEO of Marketer International, a marketing services firm, and serves on the boards of Omniply, Summit Wireless and Visionect. He was previously CMO for E Ink where he played a major role in transforming a startup to a $1b+ global company. With over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Peruvemba has been an influential advocate in the advancement of electronic display technology. He is an acknowledged expert on electronic displays, haptics, touch screens, and related technologies and consults, writes, and presents on those subjects globally. Peruvemba has also held senior level positions at Sharp Corp, Novasentis, Cambrios, TFS Inc., Planar Systems, and Suntronic Technology and has BSEE and MBA degrees and a post-graduate diploma in management. Based in Silicon Valley, he is presently CMO/advisor to high tech firms in USA, Canada and Europe and serves as Chair of Marketing for the Society for Information Display (SID). Peruvemba is also a right arm off-spinner for a cricket team he co-founded in Silicon Valley.

Paul Semenza, Santa Clara University

Paul Semenza is Chair of the Department of Engineering Management and Leadership at Santa Clara University and an independent consultant with expertise in market research, strategic planning, and technology assessment of flat panel displays, semiconductors, and flexible electronics. In 2015, Paul helped to found NextFlex, a public-private institute focused on flexible hybrid electronics manufacturing, and served as Director of Commercialization until 2018, creating the membership structure and developing relationships with equipment manufacturers and other partners. Previously, Paul was President, Technology Analyst Business for The NPD Group, where he was responsible for the DisplaySearch and Solarbuzz businesses, and served as Vice President of Display Research for iSuppli Corporation and Stanford Resources. Paul has been a program officer at the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Research Council, an analyst for the US Congress Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), and a member of technical staff at The Analytic Sciences Corporation. Paul received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Electro-optics from Tufts University, and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.  

Dr. Sihui He, DigiLens

Dr. Sihui He is senior optical scientist in DigiLens, developing simulation tools and measurement tools, as well as design for prototypes. Previously, Sihui was in Microsoft HoloLens optics team, developing next generation optics. Dr. He received her Bachelor in Information Engineering from Zhejiang University in China, and Ph.D. in optics from University of Central Florida.

 

 

Dr. Michiel Callens, DigiLens

Dr. Michiel Callens is an applied physicist with six years of photonics engineering experience, specializing in display technologies. He is currently working on waveguide technology for AR applications at DigiLens. 

He earned a PhD in photonics engineering for his work on OLEDs in 2018 and holds a joint M.S. in photonics from the University of St Andrews (Scotland) and Ghent University (Belgium) graduating Magna Cum Laude.
