Dr. Yanshu Li

Dr. Yanshu Li is currently director of business development at BOE Technologies America, where his role is focused in technological exploration, collaboration, innovation, and corporate venture in broad areas such as advanced display, AR/VR, human-computer interface, sensing, AI, and manufacturing. Dr. Li received B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Math, and minor in music performance, M.S. and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. During Ph. D., he worked on quantum dot device design, processing, simulation, nanoscale band-engineering for photovoltaics and detectors. He led record-breaking projects for world’s highest conversion efficiency single-junction (29.1%) and dual-junction (31.6%) solar cells at Hanergy America. Dr. Li has published 9 technical papers, in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Li has obtained 3 patents in touch-display systems.
