BA-SID Professional Person Spotlight – Naamah Argaman
Naamah Argaman is Lead Architect for AR Displays at Meta Reality Labs, driving the development of next-generation augmented reality products. Her work spans the full technology stack—from silicon backplanes and microLEDs to LCoS, laser projection, waveguides, and optical combiners—integrating advanced display systems with perception and sensing technologies.
Prior to Meta, Naamah contributed to cutting-edge AR innovations at Mojo Vision, where she focused on microLED development, and at Applied Materials, where she specialized in diffractive waveguides and optical components as part of the Photonics Platforms organization. She began her AR career in the defense sector, designing complex AR-based systems.
A recognized expert in the field, Naamah is the inventor on multiple patents in display and optical technologies. She holds an MBA from Stanford University, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
