Presentation Abstract
MicroLED is often described as the next major leap in display technology, promising superior brightness, efficiency, transparency, and longevity. However, its true potential extends far beyond creating better screens. The real revolution is happening at the pixel level.
In this talk, Dr. Reza Chaji, CEO of VueReal, will explore how advanced pixel engineering is shifting the display paradigm from passive visual surfaces to intelligent, multifunctional platforms. By leveraging VueReal’s proprietary MicroSolid Printing™ platform, microLEDs can be integrated with micro-drivers, micro-sensors, micro-solar elements, and advanced optical structures to create pixels that do far more than emit light.
This transformation enables each pixel to become a functional micro-system—capable of sensing its environment, harvesting energy, communicating, and adapting to changing conditions. These capabilities open the door to entirely new categories of smart displays and intelligent surfaces across automotive, wearables, consumer electronics, industrial systems, and IoT applications.
The presentation will also address one of the most important challenges in modern electronics: power consumption. With the right pixel architecture, system design, and integration approach, microLED can deliver substantial power advantages over OLED while maintaining exceptional brightness, performance, and functionality. This creates opportunities for longer battery life, reduced heat generation, improved reliability, and more sustainable electronic products.
Rather than treating microLED as a simple display enhancement, Dr. Chaji will present it as a semiconductor integration platform for the next generation of human-machine interfaces. The future display will not only show information; it will become an intelligent, interactive, and energy-aware surface embedded into the world around us.
