Victor Hsia

Victor is currently Vice President of Sales & Biz Dev for NS Nanotech, Inc., where he is spearheading licensing deals for next-generation nanoscale Gallium-Nitride (GaN) RGB nanowire LEDs for large displays, and for micro displays required for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) applications.

His interest and involvement in the display industry includes everything from tiny micro displays up to large wall-sized displays. Starting with technologies such as QD-enabled LCD’s; to OLED displays; and more recently microLED displays.

Victor has held a number of executive roles, including VP of Biz Dev for Orthogonal where he was driving OEM adoption for a novel fluorinated photoresist system capable of patterning ultra-high PPI AMOLED displays with up-to 90% fill-factor. VP of Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Nanosys; VP for NeoAccel’s SSL VPN (acquired by VMWare); VP for TransCella’s Multiprocessor Compiler (acquired by Qualcomm); VP for Novasentis’ PVDF Haptics Actuators (acquired by Kemet) and VP for 3 early CMOS sensor start-ups – OmniVision (IPO), VLSI Vision Ltd (acquired by STMicro) and MIT spin-out SmAL Camera Technologies (acquired by Cypress Semiconductor).

Victor is currently serving as Chair of Corporate Communications for the Bay Area chapter of the Society for Information Display (BASID); where he is responsible for securing speakers for the monthly meetings
