Richa Pandey
Dr. Richa Pandey was an active member of the Bay Area SID volunteer team. She has worked at the forefront of organic electronics for more than a decade. Currently, she is VP, Technology Development at Ubiquitous Energy and leads the company’s new materials and device development efforts. Ubiquitous Energy is leading the development of transparent photovoltaic technology that has the potential to turn any surface in the world into a solar panel. Dr. Pandey is an expert in developing new device architectures, discovering new materials, and building predictive device models.
She is the 2018 recipient of the American Solar Energy Society’s Women in Solar Award and was most recently named to 2020 Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal. She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
